This is a good option for students that already have an offer of a place at a UK university, both conditional and unconditional. For students with a conditional offer a pre-sessional English courses will help reach the standard required for a degree course. For students with an unconditional place, a bachelor or master's enhancement program, or academic skills preparation programme will provide the skills needed for higher education.

How long is a Pre-sessional English course?

A Pre-sessional English course varies in length depending on your level of English. It can range from 39 weeks for a students with IELTS band score 4.0 in all skills to 5 weeks for student that has IELTS band score 7.0 with 6.5 in writing and 5.5 in all other skills.

How much is a Pre-sessional English Course?

Pre-sessional tuition fees vary in cost between universities. For The University of Essex it costs approximately £660. For Bournemouth University it costs £12,860 for 39 weeks (IELTS band score 4.0) and about £1,650 for 5 weeks (IELTS band score 7.0)
